Angela obtained her master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of St. Francis and her bachelors degree in Psychology from Taylor University Fort Wayne. Angela is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who has experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient psychiatric hospitals and outpatient counseling in Community Mental Health Centers. She also has experience in Emergency Assessment for psychological and substance abuse issues and has worked with adolescents in the court system, on probation and in juvenile detention. Angela has experience with individual and group counseling as well as testing and assessment. She has worked with clients ranging from children to geriatrics. Angela uses an eclectic approach to help clients work through their problems some of which include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Christian Counseling. Her areas of specialty include working with adolescents, young adults, women’s issues, post-partum depression/anxiety, trauma related to abuse, stress management, support through life transitions, supporting care-givers, parenting support, grief, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorders, depression, and anxiety.
