Michael earned his bachelor’s degree in Business at Indiana University and his master’s degree in Counseling Psychology at Ball State University. Michael is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and a Certified Clinical Traumatologist. He has experience in both inpatient and outpatient care and have worked with both individual as well as group psychotherapy. Michael is trained in EMDR Therapy and is a Psychotherapist for the St. Joseph Hospital Burn Center where he works with trauma victims. Michael works with the Hoosier Burn Camp and the Phoenix Society for Burn Survivors. He is an acclaimed presenter for the World Burn Congress. Michael speaks on topics of Substance Abuse, Trauma, Compassion Fatigue and Caring for Caregivers. His areas of specialty include Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Abuse, Relationship Challenges, Parenting and Family Dynamics, and Family of Origin Concerns.
